The Northwest Angle and Islands are located at the “Top of the Nation” or the “chimney” of Minnesota. Surrounded by Canada (Manitoba and Ontario), the Northwest Angle and Islands is the northernmost point in the continental United States.
The Northwest Angle and Islands of Lake of the Woods is a world-class fishery for Walleye, Sauger, Muskie, Northern, Bass, Crappie, Jumbo Perch and even Burbot.
The area has a variety of activities including world class fishing, birding, snowmobiling, hiking, golfing, boating, sightseeing and historical sites.
